Douglass Houghton Hall

Douglass Houghton Hall, or DHH, is the earliest and tiniest residence hall. 2 big, cozy research study rooms allow trainees a peaceful area to capture up on coursework. A ballroom, situated in the basement, includes a phase, a video game space, a fitness center, and a kitchenette.

Their smallest dormitory has about 360 beds offered in the three-story structure. It includes mostly double-occupancy spaces; however, it also has a small number of quadruple-occupancy and single occupancy. DHH opened in 1939 and identified that time with its distinct architectural information. It features a panorama of the Keweenaw Waterway and is within a five-minute walk of the water.

The largest hall on campus and it has five stories high with approximately 1,050 beds available for assignment. It offers traditional and suite-style occupancy rooms and has several theme communities. With study and lounges on each floor, there are many opportunities to build relationships and focus on coursework. Wadsworth Hall contains many unique spaces, including the Campus Cafe, an Engineering room, and the school radio station. Multi-use rooms on the ground provide additional social spaces for students to enjoy.

Wadsworth Hall has a music space where trainees might play their instruments. A piano is located in the same room. Many areas, designated explicitly for studying, lie in each house hall. A peaceful environment is observed there at all times. Kitchen spaces provide a place for trainees to make anything from a light treat to a gourmet meal.

Wadsworth hall has fourteen kitchenettes that are located on each floor throughout the building. Locals have the opportunity to keep their bikes in hall storage over the winter. In between the destructive weather and snowplows, most trainees use this free storage alternative as opposed to transporting their bike house with them over breaks.

Hillside Place

Hillside Place offers apartment-style living to transfer trainees, second-year students or higher, students over the age of twenty-one, and worldwide students.

Hillside Place residence hall at Michigan Tech University is one of the first Gold Certified residences in Michigan. Each unit consists of 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living area. Each person will have his or her bedroom. Students will share the main living area, defined as the kitchen,
